FAQs

  • We use the Outdoorsy platform to manage our bookings, insurance and roadside assistance. Download the Outdoorsy app on your phone to get started.

  • The booking platform we use (Outdoorsy) provides insurance and roadside assistance for all of our bookings. They even have options for travel insurance so you can rest easy knowing you’re covered if something comes up on or before your trip.

  • As long as you’re 25 year or older, nothing more than your drivers license is needed to drive our RV or Van. The van is quite nimble and is comparable to driving a pickup truck. The RV is also very driver friendly and is comparable to driving a small Uhaul truck.

  • There is no limit to how far you can take our vehicles. Each of our vehicles includes a specific number of miles included with each rented night (typically 120 miles). If you go over your included mileage (nightly amount x number of nights) we bill you at $.50 per mile for any overage.

  • We charge a $129 non-refundable Pet Fee (up to 2 pets allowed). Damages caused by the pet are the responsibility of the guest are not covered by the pet cleaning fee.

  • The beauty of traveling in a camper van or RV is the freedom it gives you to get off the beaten path and find all types of camping.

Our vans are full capable of camping off-grid and providing you with all the comforts you need, without having to find somewhere to plug in to shorepower. The exception to that is Air Conditioning. Shorepower is needed to run the rear Air Conditioner.

Our RV’s are definitely a bit more energy hungry and like to be plugged into shorepower semi-regularly. This can be worked around by using the generator, though other considerations must be taken when doing so (noise level and rules of the area you’re in).

  • We recommend staying on paved surfaces with our Vans and RVs.
